Thank you Crispy!! ^^
Interesting groove. I admire the creativity, you used a lot of neat samples and rhythmic elements really well. The vocal chops are giving some big FNF vibes. This kind of music doesn't appeal to my taste but fundamentally you did very well. Nice work!
I quite like that pluck you got in the intro. Very calming. You know what isn't calming? That loud ass hihat at 0:23, but I do enjoy the accompaniment. The bass and little bell arps in the background are really nice. Turn the hihat down, add a bit of a smoother transition, and those first 44 seconds are golden.
Section starting at 0:45 is nice. The transition is a bit dry, being just a reversed cymbal, but it does the job. The kick and synth compliment eachother nicely, but I do feel the kick is underprocessed. If you were to layer it and boost the frequencies sround 60-80Hz, it would add some much needed punch to your mix.
Following section at 1:07 is great. It adds on to the previous section without deviating too much, and I dig the filtered synth arp in the background. Groovy as hell. 1:30 is epic, little melody thing in the back is perfect and fits the mood super well. Little kick rolls work as transitions pretty well, and the transition out of this section is also good. Tad rushed, some cool glitch fx or something could be cool but that's just me.
Next part at 2:15 is nice, the accompaniment is on point. I like what you did with that synth that plays in the background every so often. My only complaint is that the kick is really dry in this section, and probably shouldnt even be there at all. It also stops reallt abruptly which I don't like. However, you added some cool filters and arps around 3:00 which are absolutely fire, and make for a great, big transition into the finale. (If you couldn't tell, I'm all about transitions).
The finale in question, at 3:23, is awesome and hits the track home. Not much to say about it that I didn't say about the previous drop. I'm not a huge fan of the ending, feels really rushed and tacked on.
All in all, you cooked wid dis 1. Nice work, look forward to listening to some of your other stuff. 8.7/10

Beginning is giving strong Toby Fox vibes. Love the ambience you got going on. At around 0:28 the sample cuts off early and for a moment there's no sound playing, which kind of kills the ambient mood you had going.
Following section is nice, I would've liked to hear some more building off of the previous section, because they sound almost exactly the same. Again there's that brief moment of silence going into the next section which I don't like, but the drums make up for it; they go pretty hard. They get a bit repetitive after a while, and a cool melody line or something could really hit that last section home. Transition to the ending feels quite rushed, and once again there's that annoying brief silence going into the outro, which I do enjoy but wish it was less disconnected with the rest of the track.
Overall, you did a good job with this one, but struggled with arrangement a bit. There's three distinct sections, but they all feel disconnected from one another and could benefit from some cool drum fills or FX. 7.8/10. I look forward to hearing more of your works!
Thank you so much for the genuine criticism, I really appreciate it!
I get what you're saying, and yeah I agree, the sections don't flow into each other as well as I thought at first.
And yeah, you caught me, I had no idea what I was doing with the drum fill at the end lmao
I think I was going for something cool but horribly executed it.
Toby is one of my greatest inspirations, and I'm glad it shines here.
Love the funky ass guitar in the intro. Synth bass and vocal chops are 👌. Piano chords at 1:28 are nice, they feel a tad underprocessed to me.
Transition at 0:42 feels rushed to me, would've liked to hear a a cool fill or a riser or something to make it more interesting. I really like the synth that comes after it. Change of pace at 1:11 is great, but I really dont think that piano belongs there. Feels out of place and dry compared to all the cool synths and ear candy around it.
Ending also feels rushed. Barely noticed the transition at 1:38 at the song cuts off pretty abruptly. I would suggest putting a low pass filter or something on the guitar and having it slowly fade out, instead of keeping the same sound as the intro and cutting it off.
All in all, solid work, anzky! I look forward to checking out your other stuff.

Very expressive. Lyrics were recorded well and could prob use a lil EQ but everything is there. This is the kind of music you listen to while pumping iron at 6am or something. Well done!
I love this. Jagged hihats, deep snares, nice retro synths - this track was great, but the ending was sub-par imo. It felt really empty and sort of rushed, and kind of killed the great mood you had going there. Maybe if you just omitted the drums and put a filter on the synths, and had the synths slowly get quieter or something, it would be more fitting. All in all, really well done!
5 minutes? impressive
Cool vibes, sounds like a what would play in a goofy ah shop in a weird ndie game or something
